Hello First Grade Families,

My name is Miss Gallagher, and I will be your first grade teacher this year! I am so excited to have you in my class! I cannot wait to get to know you and I know you are going to love first grade!

About Me

I graduated from Seattle University with a Bachelors in Psychology in 2016.  In 2017 I received my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Puget Sound.  

When I am not teaching I love to read, play with my cats Minnie and Albus, and be outdoors.

Our Classroom

Our classroom is a very busy and fun place to learn. Our classroom is structured by a variety of hands-on learning activities, games, music, technology, and learning centers.

How to Get Ahold of Me

Communication is essential and I will be sending home a weekly newsletter at the beginning of the week about what we are doing in school.   In addition to that, we will be using Seesaw which is is an app that you can access to see how your child is doing throughout the day, as well as send and receive pictures and messages.
