Ward, Austin (Music)
Hello! My name is Austin Ward and I am a Music Specialist at Northwood Elementary School!
This is my second year at Northwood but my sixth year teaching music. Before Northwood, I taught Elementary Music for four years in Tennessee. I have a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Instructional Technology.
While I typically play the guitar and ukulele in the classroom, I am primarily a saxophone player with a lot of experience performing a variety of music from jazz and rock to classical.
Outside of music, I enjoy rollerblading, reading, board games, and hiking. I am married to a lovely wife and we have two cats.
